So what is JSPro all about? We’re your foremost source of articles, tutorials, commentary, news and resources relating to the world of JavaScript — part of the SitePoint network of educational sites for web professionals.

Despite scouring the internet, we found there was a serious lack of clean, navigable and fun sites focused solely on the JavaScript developer. On top of that, JavaScript is booming in popularity once again thanks to the uptake of HTML5, improvements in server-side replication and the creation of many cool engines and APIs. Our frustration led us to put our heads together … and JSPro was the result.

Here at JSPro, our goal is to train you to become a JavaScript ninja! We want to help you master the nuts and bolts of this great language; create awesome, interactive, dynamic applications and sites … and have a lot of fun along the way.

But we’re not just going to chuck reams of code at you and walk away. We want to build a JSPro community in which you can participate and converse. Come and join us, and get involved in the dialogue — you can help us learn as well!
